What we could verify
Official pages publish model dimensions, timber descriptions, power requirements, delivery and installation options. The current warranty page describes ten year domestic coverage for structure, heating, electrical components and parts for qualifying purchases after September 2025, with labour and shipping limited to the first year and stated exclusions.
In fairness, as at 2 Nov 2026: the ABN has been active since 4 May 2021, which matches the timeline on Innerlight’s About page; none of its 32 products shows a “was” or compare at price, so we found no inflated discount pattern; and the reviews we checked were not copied from other brands. ProductReview has a verified Innerlight listing with no reviews yet.

ACCC product safety recall (Sept 2025)
On 29 September 2025 the ACCC published an electrical safety recall run by Inner Light Sauna Pty Ltd for its outdoor infrared saunas, models Bella Deluxe 3, Bella Deluxe 5, La Mar 2 and La Mar 4, sold nationally online from 1 July 2024 to 31 July 2025. The ACCC notice says the saunas “may not comply with Australian electrical safety standards”, that front infrared heaters “may not be earthed correctly” and that the plug and cord “are not certified”. The stated hazards are electric shock and fire. Repairs by a technician were offered from 30 September 2025. Recall reference PRA 2025/20637.

“Lowest EMF saunas available, anywhere”
Archived copies of the Innerlight homepage from January to May 2026 said its infrared saunas “all measure well below 1 mG, making them the lowest EMF saunas available, anywhere” and that they “are recognised as the best outdoor saunas anywhere”. Product pages still say “EMF tested below 1 mG”. In our view, a claim to be the lowest anywhere needs a published comparison. We found no laboratory report, test method, distance or model. Innerlight’s own FAQ suggests asking for a video of the test. Ask for the full report before you rely on it.
Three different return terms
The site banner and money back guarantee page promise 100 days and a “full refund of your purchase price”, but the same page says returns are at your expense and shipping, delivery and installation are not refunded. The separate refund policy still says “90-day return policy”, uses generic wording (“unworn or unused, with tags”) and leaves the return address blank. Archived pages advertised 90 days until early 2025. In our view, get the exact refund terms in writing before you pay.
Warranty contradictions and the cover requirement
The old warranty, for purchases up to September 2025 and still online, says “6-year warranty on all heaters” but then “within the first five years”, and “1 year warranty on labour” but then “within the first two years”. It required outdoor saunas to be covered when not in use and excluded rain and water damage. Innerlight now says its outdoor saunas “live outside all year without needing a cover”. The current “10-year warranty” gives 12 months on labour and shipping, 2 years on Harvia heaters, 3 years on Hybrid electrics and 12 months for any commercial or rental use. In our view, confirm which document applies to your model and purchase date.
Homepage reviews are hand picked
Innerlight’s own review page (Judge.me) showed 107 reviews on 2 Nov 2026, including four 1 star and one 2 star reviews, such as “Worst sauna and company to deal with” (21 Oct 2026) and “Zero communication … Terrible customer service” (13 Jun 2026). The homepage “Real reviews” section shows only selected 5 star quotes. One card labelled “Maree Hampstead, La Mar 4” is signed “Cheers Noel”. One on site review is a thank you email to staff. In our view, read the full review page rather than the homepage selection.
Red light panel health claims and spec changes
The red light panel page lists “Immune System Boost”, “Potential Weight Loss”, “Deeper Detoxification” and “elimination of toxins”, with no studies cited. In 2025 the site listed the panel with a 5 year warranty and irradiance of “160+ mw/cm²”. It now shows 100 mW/cm² at 3 inches, and the warranty page gives 3 years. In our view, treat these as marketing, not medical, claims.
No SAA or RCM approval shown
We found no SAA certificate number, RCM mark or other Australian electrical approval on the home, product, hybrid, warranty, about or showroom pages. The Demfin 6 Hybrid runs a Harvia stove and up to 18 infrared heaters in one cabin. Ask for the electrical approval details for your model before you pay. Four outdoor models were also the subject of an ACCC electrical safety recall in September 2025.
Deposit and delivery terms (checked 2 Nov 2026)
Innerlight’s shipping policy says orders are “shipped from our Sydney warehouse”, and pre-orders are “shipped within 2-3 days of us receiving the item in stock”. Product listings showed either “In stock now” or an expected month. We did not find deposit wording; pre-orders appear to be paid in full.
Evidence requested
Request complete EMF and ELF reports showing the tested model, laboratory, instrument, distances and operating state; Australian electrical approval identifiers; materials and VOC evidence; and confirmation of the warranty document applying to each model and purchase date. Innerlight is welcome to send these under our right of reply.
