About the brand
PlusLife Health sells ice baths, chillers, traditional and infrared saunas, sauna and ice bath combos and maintenance products at pluslifehealth.com.au. Its About page says it began during the lockdowns as a husband and wife business run by James and Catarina, who started with ice baths. Surnames are not published on the site and we did not confirm a public LinkedIn profile for either founder.
ABN 50 661 558 229 (ABR record) is registered to WELLNESS TECHNOLOGY AUSTRALIA PTY LTD (ACN 661 558 229), an Australian private company, ABN active and GST registered from 8 Aug 2022, main business location NSW 2230. The business name PLUSLIFE HEALTH was registered on 27 May 2025. The Residential Terms of Service give a registered office at Suite 806, 35-45 Spring Street, Bondi Junction NSW 2022 and a repair centre in Sydney. The earliest Internet Archive copy we found of the website is from 24 Apr 2022, a few months before the current ABN. Checked 3 Nov 2026.
Founders: James and Catarina (first names only, per the About page). We did not buy an ASIC extract.

What we could verify
Outdoor traditional: Arc Barrel A$7,990 (2 to 4 people, shown against A$11,990), Cove Barrel A$10,490 (4 to 5 people), Mini Traditional 2.0 A$11,990, Max Traditional 2.0 A$14,990, Crest A$15,949, Meridian Barrel A$17,324 and Summit A$19,886. Combos with an ice bath run from A$11,900 to A$21,888. Prices from the brand site on 3 Nov 2026.
Specs on the Arc and Cove pages: 42 mm solid spruce staves (Nordic spruce on the Cove), Thermo aspen benches, bronze 8 mm fully tempered glass, and a choice of Harvia Top Steel M60 or Harvia Spirit 6 kW heaters. Halo indoor saunas use Canadian hemlock or western red cedar with Harvia Vega heaters (4.5 kW on the 2 to 3 person, 9 kW on the 4 to 6 person). The Lumina lists hemlock and 8 mm tempered glass. The Full Spectrum 2 Person page says “Certified to Australian Standards”. We found no SAA, RCM or other electrical approval number on the pages we checked.
In fairness: Harvia heaters are named on every traditional model, timber species and glass are stated, the cooling off and cancellation rules are written out in detail, and Australian Consumer Law rights are acknowledged in the terms.
Questions and watch-outs (3 Nov 2026)
These are our views, based on PlusLife pages, public registers and review sites, all checked on 3 Nov 2026 (Sydney time). Missing evidence is not proof a claim is false.
Warranty terms differ by page
Product pages show “12 Months Standard Warranty” on the Halo, Lumina and Full Spectrum 2 Person, and “24 Months Standard Warranty” on the Arc and Cove barrels, with extended warranty available on request. The Mini 2.0 page says “5 yr warranty, extendable to 10 years”. The terms say sauna warranty is “as specified at time of sale”. The ice bath FAQ gives 12 months, and the warranty page gives chillers 24 months (from 1 Oct 2024) with 6 months labour. In our view, get the warranty for your exact model in writing before you pay.
Delays are not grounds for a refund
The Shipping and Returns page says “We do not provide refunds or cancellations due to shipping, production, or delivery delays.” You can cancel within 48 hours for a full refund. After that, cancelling before production starts refunds 75%, and there is no refund once the product is in production or for customised products. Product pages say production takes 6 to 12 weeks depending on the model, then 3 to 5 business days for delivery. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are separate from these terms.
Freight at checkout is only a deposit
The shipping charge at checkout “represent[s] an initial deposit of approximately 40-50% of the estimated shipping costs”. The final freight is worked out at dispatch and any difference is invoiced before shipping. Standard delivery is curbside, by road freight. The site banner on 3 Nov 2026 offered free delivery on some European saunas for Black Friday. Ask for a fixed delivered price.
Reviews
ProductReview showed 3.3 from 4 reviews on 3 Nov 2026. Two are positive about a barrel sauna and an L shaped sauna. One reviewer says an ice barrel costing about A$9,100, ordered in late October for December 2025 delivery, had still not arrived in March 2026, with the date moved “around 8 times”, and that they had started a dispute. Another says a chiller failed close to the end of its warranty and repair would have meant freight to Sydney at their cost. These are individual customer accounts we could not verify.

The brand’s own review page says “Based on 242 reviews”, with 179 five star, 62 four star and 1 three star, and none lower shown. Reviews hosted on a brand’s own site do not count in our scoring. Trustpilot blocked our check, and we did not check Google or Facebook ratings for this profile.
Recalls, regulators and ads
We did not complete ACCC recall, NSW Fair Trading, ASIC insolvency notice or Meta Ad Library checks for this profile. We will add them when checked.
Heater and certification
Traditional models name Harvia heaters: a choice of Harvia Top Steel M60 or Harvia Spirit 6 kW on the Arc and Cove barrels, and Harvia Vega on the Halo indoor range (4.5 kW on the 2 to 3 person, 9 kW on the 4 to 6 person). A Harvia Spirit 6 kW heater with a Fenix Wi-Fi kit is also sold on its own for A$3,965. The home page says products are tested to European certification requirements, and the Full Spectrum 2 Person page says “Certified to Australian Standards”.
We found no SAA, RCM or other Australian electrical approval number on the pages we checked on 3 Nov 2026. Ask for the approval number for your exact model and heater, and check it on the EESS national database.
Commercial use and partnerships
PlusLife sells into commercial settings as well as homes. Its menu has a Commercial section and a Hot and Cold Combos for Commercial range, and its store lists a Commercial Ice Barrel (A$11,490), Commercial XL Ice Bath (A$6,534), Commercial Chiller (A$4,950), commercial maintenance packs, and a “Commercial use coverage” add on at A$500. The home page says its saunas suit “homes, gyms, and wellness studios”, that custom builds come from “30+ years of expertise”, and that it partners with “trusted installers and electricians across Australia”. It also refers to European “production partners” and “FSC-certified facilities”. We did not find named commercial clients, retail stockists or brand ambassadors on the pages we checked. Checked 3 Nov 2026.
Marketing transparency
The brand’s own review page showed 4.74 out of 5 “Based on 242 reviews” on 3 Nov 2026, with no one or two star reviews shown. On ProductReview, where the brand does not control the listing, it showed 3.3 from 4 reviews on the same day. Product pages show “was” prices next to current prices (for example the Arc Barrel at A$7,990 against A$11,990), and the site ran a Black Friday banner. We have not verified how long the higher prices applied. We did not complete a Meta Ad Library check for this profile.

Deposit and delivery terms (checked 3 Nov 2026)
The Residential Terms of Service offer “50% deposit at the time of Order with the balance due within fourteen (14) days of the initial payment; or 100% upfront payment”. “Failure to pay the remaining balance on time may result in a delay in delivery, cancellation of your Order, or forfeiture of your deposit.” A 3% surcharge applies to credit cards. Delivery follows the 6 to 12 week production time, with 3 to 5 business days in transit. Most sauna pages said “Contact for stock availability” on 3 Nov 2026; the Mini 2.0 page said “In stock, Sydney” with 3 left.
