What we could verify
As at 2 Nov 2026, official product pages publish dimensions, weights, heater layout, timber descriptions and power: the 4 person indoor infrared sauna draws 4,850W (21A, single phase) and the 4 person outdoor infrared 5,890W, and both must be hardwired by an electrician. The chillers run from a standard 10A plug. Prices: 4 person indoor infrared A$10,650 (shown against a “regular” A$12,650), 4 person outdoor infrared A$12,990 (against A$14,990), 4 person outdoor traditional A$14,990 (against A$15,490), ice bath from A$7,900, and combos from A$17,230 to A$26,260. Professional assembly is A$750 (indoor infrared), A$900 (outdoor infrared) and A$345 (ice bath) in Sydney metro. Outdoor saunas were on pre-order for early December delivery with a A$1,000 deposit; the indoor model was listed as in stock.
In fairness: the company has traded under the same ACN since October 2023, it lists a physical showroom, and it publishes detailed specifications and installation prices. We found no ACCC product safety recall and no public complaints on the review platforms we checked.

These are our views, based on Chill Bunny’s own pages, its Bunnings seller page, the Internet Archive and public registers, all checked on 2 Nov 2026 (Sydney time). Missing evidence is not proof a claim is false.
“Full Canadian western red cedar”, with a Hemlock exterior
The 4 person indoor infrared page says it is “the only full Canadian western red cedar sauna on the market under $15,000”. Its own specification table lists the interior as Canadian Western Red Cedar and the exterior as Canadian Hemlock. In our view, ask which parts are cedar before you rely on the “full cedar” wording.
Warranty and return terms differ
Product pages carry a “3-Year Warranty Labour & Parts (Residential)” badge, but the warranty table on the same page gives 3 years on components and 1 year on labour, and shorter commercial periods. The ice bath FAQ gives 3 years on the steel and cedar and 1 year on the compressor, plumbing and electrics. Chill Bunny’s Bunnings seller page says “All Chill Bunny products come with a one-year limited warranty”. A 2 year extended warranty is sold for A$300. Returns: the indoor sauna page offers a “100-Day Guarantee, Money back if not satisfied”, the ice bath page says “30 Day Return Policy”, and the Bunnings policy asks for faults to be reported within 14 days, with shipping not refunded. The warranty is backed by Chill Bunny Pty Ltd itself. In our view, get the warranty and refund terms for your exact model in writing.
Price history: a standing “sale”
Every sauna showed a strikethrough “regular” price in the Internet Archive copy of 7 Dec 2025 and still does on the current site. On the indoor model, the sale price rose by A$160 while the “regular” price rose by A$1,000. The homepage now says “BLACK FRIDAY SALE ON NOW”.

In our view, treat the “regular” price as a reference figure, not proof of a saving.
Scarcity counters
Product pages show “ONLY 6 REMAINING FOR 2026 – 81% Sold” (indoor infrared), “53% Sold” (outdoor infrared) and “37% Sold” (outdoor traditional). No basis for these figures is given. In our view, do not let them rush a deposit.
Claims without published evidence
The indoor page says “Just 20 minutes in this rejuvenating sauna can provide the benefits of a light jog”. Pages describe “LOW EMF” heaters with no figures or test report, say the sauna “aids detoxification”, and tag products “detox sauna” and “weight loss sauna”. Outdoor pages say “Australia’s only fully outdoor sauna under $20,000” and “temperatures guaranteed for winter”. Pages list “Trusted by The Yard Gym, Saint Haven, Ferretti Yachts & Australian Defence” with no detail of the Defence work. We found no published source for these. In our view, treat them as marketing.
No certificate numbers or timber thickness
Sauna pages say “Safety Certification: SAA certified” but give no certificate number. The ice bath page cites AS/NZS 60335.2.40:2019 and AS/NZS 60335.1:2020 for the chillers, again with no certificate or RCM number. No wall or board thickness is published for any sauna, so we could not compare it with the 30 mm benchmark. The traditional sauna page still lists both a 6.8 kW and an 8 kW Harvia heater, and the outdoor infrared page gives two depths (1320 mm and 1350 mm). Ask for the approval number, timber thickness and heater model in writing.
Recalls and company history
We found no ACCC product safety recall for Chill Bunny or Tiny White Rabbit (productsafety.gov.au, checked 2 Nov 2026). The former company name, Tiny White Rabbit Pty Ltd, belongs to the same company number, so it is a rename and not a sign of a phoenix company. We found no link to any other sauna brand.
Deposit and delivery terms (checked 2 Nov 2026)
Chill Bunny’s refund policy refers to a “14-day cooling-off period starting from the date you place your first deposit” and says that after it, “you will lose your 50% deposit” (2.4). Its shipping policy (8.3) says: “Once Chill Bunny has received confirmation that your Product has been shipped to a Chill Bunny Warehouse, we will arrange an Appointment”. The policies also say it has warehouses “across Australia and New Zealand”.

Request model-specific EMF and ELF reports; timber sourcing certificates and chain-of-custody scope; VOC and materials test reports; Australian electrical approval identifiers; the current governing warranty; timber wall thickness; the basis for the “% Sold” counters and the “light jog” and “Australian Defence” claims; and the evidence relied upon for detoxification and weight-loss statements. Does the outdoor model need hardwiring?
