Saunas Australia is an independent research and comparison website created to help Australian buyers make a better-informed sauna purchase.
Why this site exists
Buying a sauna can involve a substantial upfront cost, electrical and installation decisions, long warranty periods and product claims that are difficult to compare. Important information is often spread across product pages, policies, company records and technical documents.
We bring that information together in one place. Our aim is not to tell every reader that the same sauna is “best”, but to make the meaningful differences easier to see before money changes hands.
What we examine

- timber, heater, glass and construction specifications
- electrical, delivery, assembly and installation requirements
- warranty terms, exclusions and Australian support pathways
- business identity, operating history and product-safety information
- public reviews, customer-service channels and replacement-parts information
- marketing and performance claims, together with the evidence available to support them
How our research works
We prefer primary and authoritative sources, including official brand websites and policies, ABN Lookup, regulator notices, certification registers, manufacturer documentation and relevant technical literature. Sources and review dates are recorded wherever practical because products, prices and policies change.
We distinguish between a claim made by a brand and a fact independently established by evidence. Where evidence is incomplete, we use wording such as “not independently verified” rather than presenting an assumption as fact. A lack of public evidence does not automatically mean a claim is false.
Editorial independence
No sauna brand receives advance control over our conclusions, comparison position or wording. The same evidence standard is intended to apply to every brand, including brands presented favourably. A company may provide factual information or respond to a finding, but that does not guarantee a change.
Brands cannot purchase a favourable assessment. If Saunas Australia introduces advertising, affiliate links, sponsorship or another material commercial relationship in the future, it must be clearly disclosed where it could affect a reader’s understanding.
What this site is not
Saunas Australia is not a sauna retailer, manufacturer, installer, certification body or regulator. Information on this website is general research, not electrical, building, medical, legal or financial advice. Buyers should confirm current specifications, stock, delivery dates, installation requirements and written warranty terms directly before purchasing.
Corrections and right of reply
Accuracy matters. Brands and readers can submit documented corrections, and material accepted corrections are recorded publicly. Brands are also given a reasonable opportunity to respond to significant findings under our right-of-reply process.
