Cube 2: what the pattern shows
From 6 Jul to 18 Sep 2026 the feed shows exactly one review per day, each stamped 00:00:00 UTC and each marked verified. Read in date order, the surname initials (highlighted in green) step backwards through the alphabet, W, V, U, T and so on to A, then start again. All 101 reviews on the product are 4 or 5 stars.
Outside this run, one Cube 2 reviewer name is spelt “Unkown” (posted 3 Mar 2026, unverified, with a photo).
In our view this is a bulk-loaded review pattern and is not consistent with organic customer submissions. We cannot say whether any single review is genuine. Swell Sport is welcome to respond and we will publish any reply.

Cube 4: what the pattern shows
127Cube 4 reviews in feed

115of those marked verified
18 Seplast midnight review, same day as Cube 2
The Swell Cedar Cube 4 page showed 127 customer reviews when we captured it on 30 Oct 2026. 115 of them carry a timestamp of exactly 00:00:00 UTC and every one of those 115 is marked verified. They run from 11 Jun to 18 Sep 2026 across 81 dates, and from late August there are often two to four reviews on the same date, all at midnight UTC. Ratings in that group are 103 five star, 9 four star and 3 three star. Unlike Cube 2, the surname initials in this group do not follow an alphabetical sequence.
The other 12 Cube 4 reviews have ordinary looking times, all carry a photo, none is marked verified and all are 5 star. They arrived in clusters: three on 8 Sep 2026 within 32 minutes, four on 17 Sep 2026 within 65 minutes, and three on 13 Oct 2026 within about 3.5 hours.
Both the Cube 2 and Cube 4 midnight runs stop on the same date, 18 Sep 2026. In our view this is the same bulk-loaded review pattern seen on Cube 2 and is not consistent with organic customer submissions. We cannot say whether any single review is genuine.

A real customer can post the same review on two sites. Here the same names, text and styled photos repeat across several products within minutes, so in our view the ProductReview average is not independent of the website reviews. The only ProductReview review with no website copy and detailed purchase facts is a 1 star complaint about a White Retreat 4.
Trustpilot: snapshot, 30 Oct 2026 AEDT
Swell Sport on Trustpilot showed a TrustScore of 4 from 7 reviews: six 5 star and one 1 star. The profile is claimed. No review carried a Verified label.
The 1 star review was posted 10 Jul 2026 and appears to describe the same White Retreat 4 complaint seen on ProductReview (late delivery, yellow finish, glue residue, visible screws, escalated to Fair Trading). The founder replied on 16 Jul 2026.
The six 5 star reviews were posted 16 Jul, 16 Jul, 3 Aug, 4 Aug, 5 Aug and 23 Aug 2026, all after the complaint. Five reviewers had only one Trustpilot review. The pattern we see here is in timing and tone: brief, general praise arriving after a detailed public complaint.
